In response to the Chinese nationalist “Heart China” movement through which netizens place a heart symbol in front of their instant messenger (such as MSN Messenger) name, worldwide netizens have started using “Heart Tibet” to show that while the Olympics are supposed to be a politics-free sporting event, they do not forget about the situation in Tibet. The heart symbol in MSN is created by putting the letter L in parenthesis: (L) Tibet
